Opening and creating Home At Last, LLC, 10 years ago with the late Owner/CEO, I was the Chief Operations Officer. With the passing of Gene Perrin, I ascended to the CEO/Owner position.
I am responsible for all supervision of the company including ensuring all programing meet all State and Federal requirements. As the CEO/Owner of the company, I contract with individuals who own or live-in apartments and ensure all required training and background checks are completed regularly. The company finds private homes with families where individuals with Developmental Disabilities live. Home At Last, LLC, is responsible for the training to those would be contractors.
As a Shared Living Provider, myself from 2011-2016, I was responsible for teaching the individuals that lived with me some of the independent living skills needed in life such as social skills, rational problem-solving skills, along with hygiene, and communication skills. I ensured that programs were ran everyday and programs were documented on daily. I attended all medical appointments, ISP’s and worked directly with the State and agency in which I was contracted with to provide services.
Ed is our Quality Assurance Specialist. Ed has been with our company since April 2016. Ed also makes monthly on-site visits to each home to ensure that we are consistent with following state regulations, ensuring that policies and procedures are being followed and providing a safe, healthy and supportive environment to all clients.
Ed’s greatest passions are spending time with his family and friends while his leisure time is usually spent on the golf course, working in the yard or garden and following Cornhusker football.
